Getting Started
Each game is designed for one hour of intense fun! Plan to spend 15 minutes prior to each game preparing and briefing, and 15 minutes after each game to share the experience and take photos.
Not at all! We do however recommend our games for ages 14 and up. We do allow younger players into some rooms, but some of the game content may be too difficult for them. Players that are 14 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult of the ages 18 and above. Note that STRIPCLUB escape adventure is strictly 18+!
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your game start time. Games will begin exactly at their start times and being late might cause you to have less than sixty minutes to play.
Yes, you sure do! Otherwise there may not be anyone to lock you up 🙂
You can pay at the checkout when booking an Escape Room experience online. In-store we accept, cash, eftpos, credit cards, Geno-a-pay, Qoin and Afterpay.
Due to the nature of the game the minimum group size is 2 people, thus unfortunately you cannot come and play alone.
We do recommend wearing clothing that is comfortable as you never know what will be thrown your way.
Yes. We’d love to host you and your group of friends or co-workers! E-mail us at info@rotofobia.co.nz to book your corporate escape adventure! We generally can fit up to 20 people in total but have held groups of a larger size.
You don’t need academic knowledge or physical strength, but you definitely will need your logical thinking and pay attention to details.
No refund will be given if the booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the game booking time or if you don`t show up for your game. To reschedule please call 0275279660
Safety
Yes, totally! Each room has surveillance cameras, so we see what`s happening inside rooms and you are never really locked – emergency exit door always stays open! There is also a two way communication with the control room.
Yes and no. The real life setting of escape adventure is completely immersive once you’re inside. And yes, the door will lock behind you. However, for the safety and enjoyment of all players, a participant may exit a room at any time. Keep in mind, once a player exits they will not be allowed to re-enter.
Escape adventure requires a sharp and sober mind. A glass of wine or a couple of beers before game is fine, but please note that if you arrive intoxicated, we have the right of refusal (for your own safety and ours), and no refunds will be given.
Rooms
No. Cameras are not allowed in the room. No photos or videos are allowed. But we`ll be happy to snap heaps of photos of you after the game with our cool feature wall 🙂
